The village of Calheta is a tranquil sea side resort, enjoying a slow pace of life. There are plenty of good restaurants and bars in the village as well as in the Marina and there is a well equipped supermarket opposite the Hotel.
Far from tourist traps and enjoying a unique location on the sea front by the golden sandy beach and next to the new Marina, the village of Calheta is well connected with modern roads to all points of the island and you can reach Funchal, the capital in less than 30 minutes drive. From the Hotel to the airport, it is a 45-minute drive.
